These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the New Dawn Movers website and services. By placing a booking or using our site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Definitions
“We/Us/Our” means New Dawn Movers (UK). “You/Your” means the customer named on the booking. “Services” means moving, packing, storage, and related services described in your quote/confirmation.
2. Bookings & Pricing
- Quotes are based on details you supply (inventory, addresses, access, dates, timing, stairs/lift, parking, distance, special items).
- Fixed-price quotes are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise. Hourly jobs are billed in 30-minute increments after the minimum.
- Parking, tolls, congestion/ULEZ, ferry/long-carry, waiting time, and other third-party costs are chargeable unless explicitly included.
3. Changes & Access
- You must inform us of any changes at least 36 hours before the move day (date/time, inventory, access, keys, lift, packing needs). The price may be adjusted.
- Access is your responsibility (permits/arrangements for parking, property entry, lift bookings). We may charge waiting time if access is delayed.
4. Payments
- Deposits (if any) are due on booking; balances are due before or on the service date.
- We accept card payments via our payment partner. Late invoices may incur fees.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
Our cancellation rules are outlined in Cancellation Policy. UK consumer law may provide additional rights.
6. Customer Obligations
- Pack items safely unless you’ve booked packing services.
- Declare fragile/high-value/special items in writing before move day.
- Empty drawers/wardrobes unless confirmed safe to move loaded.
- Ensure appliances are disconnected/defrosted/drained.
7. Liability & Insurance
- We will use reasonable care and skill. Our liability is limited to the lower of repair, replacement, or the amount set in your booking confirmation or our insurance limit.
- We are not liable for: pre-existing defects; normal wear; self-packed cartons (unless visibly damaged in transit by our negligence); prohibited items; indirect loss; delays outside our control.
- Optional goods-in-transit cover may be available on request prior to the move date.
8. Prohibited Items
No cash, jewellery, securities, hazardous materials, live plants/animals, perishables or illegal items unless agreed in writing.
9. Delays & Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, strikes, breakdown, police/fire closures, acts of God, or events beyond our control.
10. Website Use & IP
Site content is owned by New Dawn Movers or licensors. You may not copy or reuse content without permission. Do not misuse the site or attempt unauthorised access.

12. Complaints
Please contact us within 48 hours of the service if you have concerns. We’ll investigate and respond promptly.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
